Frequently asked questions
How do I import a photo?
Tap the plus button to start a new project, then choose a photo from your library or take one with the camera. Photos stay on your device; nothing is uploaded.
How do I change the grid?
Open a project and use the grid controls to change the number of columns and rows, the line thickness and the line colour. You can also switch grid labels on or off. Changes are saved with the project.
How do I zoom into or lock a square?
Pinch to zoom on the canvas. Tap a square to focus on it and use the lock control to keep it fixed so the canvas does not move while you draw. Tap again to unlock.
How do exports work?
Tap Export in a project to create a print-ready image of your photo with the grid on top. Free exports include a small watermark and a standard resolution. GridValue Pro exports at 300 DPI without a watermark, which is what you want for printing at full size. You can save the export to Photos or share it to another app.
What is included in GridValue Pro?
Pro unlocks 300 DPI watermark-free exports and unlimited projects. It is an auto-renewable subscription billed to your Apple ID. The current prices and any free trial or introductory offer are shown in the app before you subscribe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Tap GridValue Pro and choose Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. You keep Pro until the period ends.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Sign in to the same Apple ID you used to subscribe, open GridValue, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Your Pro access will be restored automatically.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and choose the purchase you would like to report.
Where are my projects stored?
Projects and photos are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them, so export anything you want to keep first.
